BCS written exam preparation

BCS written exam preparation for future Bangladeshi cadre

After preliminary exam, if you are satisfied by your exam then you should start your preparation for BCS written exam. The previous examination result says that if you are confident to get above 60-65 marks (Sometimes this mark varies) in preliminary exam then you are eligible to written exam.
BCS Written exam has vast syllabus, but don’t be upset because when you are prepared for written exam then the other non cadre exam will be easy for you. So first you have to collect BCS Written exam syllabus, you can find it from bpsc –Bangladesh public service commission website and its address is www.bpsc.gov.bd . You can also find the syllabus from any publications like BCS written exam guide books. Here you will get subject wise syllabus. You also have to collect the subject wise reference book. Same as preliminary exam guide books many publications published BCS written exam guide books; you can get it from book store, so collect it and that books will help you to learn the previous exam question & answer.
There are two categories cadre, one is general cadre & other is technical cadre, you may know. Both categories students have to sit for exam for some common subject. Let’s discuss it, Bangla (general cadre applicant have to seat for 2 paper of Bangla named Bangla 1st & 2nd paper, but technical cadre has only bangle 1st paper exam), English 1st & 2nd paper, Bangladesh affairs which is 1st & 2nd paper, international affairs only 1 paper, Mathematics is 1 paper but there are two part(one ins general math which is 50 marks & other is mental ability 50 marks & MCQ question) .so general cadre exam marks 800 & technical cadre 700 marks. Technical cadres have to sit another 2 exam that is their departmental exam 1st & 2nd paper which is 200 marks.
You have to start studying previous questions and by this you can get an idea about the exam procedure. Within one month the preliminary result will be published, after BCS preliminary exam result within 3 month the BCS written exam date will be published. So you have to start your study seriously because you have only 90 days for preparation. You should calculate how much time you have. Approximately you will get 10 days per subject to prepare. It is really a hard competition exam, so don’t waste your time, although it has a vast syllabus. So prepare yourselves in such a way that you have an idea about all topics, & I think it will help you to answer questions. In international affairs, some question come from recent news, so keep a view to the daily newspaper. I know it is really tough to memorize everything but try to your best.
After completing the general exam, the technical exam date will publish. So few days you will get to prepare your subject related study. Finally one thing we can tell without proper study no one can gain their target so utilize your time & knowledge. Hope you will fulfill your dream.
